The open space is built in France’s Catana shipyards, using the highest quality materials. The construction of a closed-cell PVC foam sandwich and the manufacture of hulls by infusion ensures rigidity, longevity, and weight reduction. The nacelle size and height allow for better passage through water and thus a higher level of comfort and protection. As the mast pushed further forward, there is more space for a larger self-tacking jib and greater maneuverability with the self-tacking framework. The sail area and weight ratio are the highest in its class, carrying with it the efficiency you ‘d expect from a catamaran Catana.
